Veterans Into Logistics

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to reduce unemployment and homelessness amongst the ex-military community by creating a pathway for veterans into the transport and logistic industry.

Our Mission

As a UK-registered non-profit organisation, Veterans into Logistics is dedicated to supporting service-leavers/veterans who are struggling to find a direction and employment and offering a solution to the UK logistics industry.

As veterans supporting veterans, we know all too well the challenges ex-military can face when leaving the armed forces without a transferable trade or skill.

Unable to find employment that offers structure, stability, and security, veterans may become vulnerable to depression, despondency, and homelessness, which can lead to criminal involvement, drug, or alcohol dependency, imprisonment, and suicide.

Tragically, there are veterans who dedicated their lives to serving our country are currently homeless and living on the streets.

At the same time, across the UK, there is a HGV driver shortage, due to Brexit and COVID-19 which has thrown the country’s logistics sector into crisis, with an estimated 100,000 shortfall of HGV drivers. It is critical that new drivers are recruited.

Veterans Into Logistics is committed to making a difference. By supporting veterans into logistics careers, we believe we can save lives and change futures, while providing a solution to the current UK logistics crisis.
