A dedicated Team North featuring the Defence & Justice Sector is preparing to take on a challenging 25-mile Jurassic Coast Hike to raise vital funds for Veterans into Logistics.

The team will walk from Ringstead to Swanage, tackling a demanding stretch of the Jurassic Coast while raising money to help Armed Forces veterans access training, qualifications and meaningful employment.

The challenge is being completed in memory of their much-loved friend and colleague, Paul Leather, an Operations Manager at North who sadly passed away while taking part in the NC500 cycling event last year.

Paul had a close connection to Veterans into Logistics through a friend he served alongside, who went on to found our charity.

Supporting veterans as they transition from military service and work towards stable and rewarding civilian careers was a cause Paul cared deeply about, making the team's decision to support Veterans into Logistics particularly meaningful.

This is also not the first time Team North has gone the extra mile to support our work.

Two years ago, members of the team took on the Welsh 3 Peaks in aid of Veterans into Logistics, demonstrating an incredible commitment to helping us create opportunities for the Armed Forces community.

Their latest challenge will see the team tackle 25 miles of difficult terrain along the Jurassic Coast, requiring determination, resilience and plenty of teamwork to reach the finish line.

Every donation raised through the challenge will help Veterans into Logistics continue providing veterans with the support they need to take the next steps after leaving the Armed Forces.

From funding training and qualifications to connecting veterans with employers and sustainable career opportunities, fundraising challenges such as this make a genuine contribution to the work we carry out across the UK.

Everyone at Veterans into Logistics would like to thank the entire team for once again choosing to support our charity and for taking on this challenge in Paul's memory.
