Everyone at Veterans into Logistics is proud to announce that we are now an accredited Living Wage Employer, recognising our commitment to fair pay and supporting people into stable, sustainable careers.
The accreditation means Veterans into Logistics has joined thousands of organisations across the UK that have voluntarily committed to paying their employees the real Living Wage.
For us, this commitment closely reflects the values that sit at the heart of our charity and the work we carry out every day.
Veterans into Logistics supports Armed Forces veterans as they transition into civilian life, helping them access training, gain qualifications and move into meaningful and sustainable employment. Through that work, we see first-hand the difference that financial security and a stable career can make to an individual and their family.
Becoming a Living Wage Employer demonstrates our commitment to applying those same principles within our own organisation and ensuring the people who contribute to our mission are fairly rewarded for the work they do.
The real Living Wage is based on the cost of living and provides employers with a benchmark designed to ensure employees can earn a wage that reflects everyday living costs.
While gaining accreditation is an important milestone for Veterans into Logistics, it also complements our wider ambition to champion good employment and sustainable career opportunities for the veterans we support.
We want the people who come through our charity to have the opportunity not simply to find work, but to build careers that provide stability, independence and the foundations for a positive future after leaving the Armed Forces.
We are proud to stand alongside other Living Wage Employers across the UK and demonstrate our continued commitment to creating opportunities, supporting our people and promoting the value of fair and sustainable employment.
As Veterans into Logistics continues to grow, these values will remain central to both our organisation and our mission.
Fair pay. Sustainable careers. Brighter futures.
