Training Adviser
I joined Veterans into Logistics in September 2021 after completing my Level 3 BTEC in Health and Social Care at college. I started as an office assistant, supporting the admin team with day-to-day tasks including recruitment support, operational work, and maintaining veterans’ records on our CRM system.
Shortly after joining, I was seconded to work closely with our Founder, Darren Wright, managing his diary and supporting him as a Personal Assistant, while continuing to assist colleagues across the organisation when needed.
In mid-2022, I was promoted to Training Adviser. I’m responsible for planning and monitoring each veteran’s training journey; from booking medicals and theory tests, to organising practical lessons and managing initial and periodic CPC. If you have any questions about training, I’m usually the first point of contact.
Through my experience across logistics, transport, customer service, training schedules and operations, I’ve earned the nickname “the font of all knowledge”, and I wear it proudly.
Growing up, I didn’t have the easiest start in life and have experienced mental health challenges myself. Working at Veterans into Logistics means a great deal to me, as I’m able to support people who have faced their own struggles after serving our country. I’m proud to use my experiences to help others move forward into stable, meaningful careers.
