Accounts Manager
My background began with the RAF, which gave me a real sense of teamwork, belonging, and being part of something that mattered — and yes, it was fun too. After leaving the service, I spent time raising my children before moving into bookkeeping and finance. I now have over 30 years’ experience working with businesses and not-for-profit organisations.
While keeping accurate records is an important part of what I do, my role goes beyond the numbers. I enjoy helping organisations and the people behind them, putting simple, effective financial systems in place that support good decisions and long-term sustainability. My experience covers bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, and wider financial operations.
As a former member of the Armed Forces, I understand both the practical and personal impact of military life, and how those experiences continue to shape the way I work today. I also understand the challenges veterans can face when moving into civilian life, that perspective makes my role at Veterans into Logistics particularly meaningful.
I’m proud to be part of an organisation that supports veterans, values people, and helps create positive futures beyond service.
